Rural Hampshire engagement shoot – man and woman pose beneath weeping willows

Rural Hampshire engagement shoot for Jen and Stewart

Jen and Stewart are getting married next month. They got together a year ago and play in a brass band. Fellow members will be accompanying the hymns at their wedding service. This takes place next month in the parish church in Damerham, a tranquil village near Fordingbridge, Hampshire. I met them there last month to photograph their engagement portrait photos.

In bright spring sunshine, we started in the churchyard and moved down the gravel path shaded by yew trees that leads to the road into the village. Down the hill, in the village, the bridge over the stream was a nice place to pause. Even better as a backdrop was a green across the road. This boasts beautiful weeping willows provided and will be ideal for photos on the day.

I’m now very much looking forward to photographing their wedding.
