In late April, Hollie, Kye and I were blessed with blue skies and gorse bushes in full bloom. They set the seal on a thoroughly enjoyable engagement shoot at Lake Pier, near Poole in Dorset. We began by the lake in a nature reserve that backs onto the beach. While working through some relaxed couple poses, a friendly swan came to join us and even made the sign of a heart with its neck as Hollie and Kye kissed. How’s that for romance?

After more photos further around the lake, we moved down to the beach for some panoramic shots, and finally to the pier itself. This all resulted in a beautiful set of sun-kissed images.

Hollie is close to qualifying as a psychologist, while Kye is a mental health support worker for adolescent in-patients. Their love for each other and relaxed, fun-loving personalities shine through the photographs. Enjoy!
