Leanne and Ben enjoyed the good fortune of getting married on the last weekend favoured with hot weather this summer. They mere married in the thatched barn at Norton Park, a luxury hotel in the heart of the downs north of Winchester.
Emerging into the warm sunshine after the lunchtime ceremony, the happy couple enjoyed a confetti shower before walking with their guests around the side of the old house to an open-sided marquee, where they relaxed with friends and family.
Romantic portraits beside the lake were followed by the wedding reception in the tithe barn. Guests returned to the lawn afterwards to enjoy the evening sunshine before the evening reception in the conference centre, which got underway with the cutting of the cake and first dance by Ben and Leanne. It was a beautiful day and I was glad to be part of it.
