Salisbury Registry Office wedding for Nicola and Kevin

Nicola and I spent our primary school years living across the road from each other. After secondary school, we lost contact completely. Many years, we reconnected on Facebook and I discovered that she lived only about 20 miles from Romsey. Even so, we never managed to meet in person.

So I was delighted when, out of the blue, Nicola got in touch and asked me to photograph her wedding to Kevin in October. Their ceremony took place in the elegant surroundings of Salisbury Register Office. About 20 family members and close friends were there to witness it.

After a quick group photo, we all walked across the city to The Cosy Club. On the way, Nicola and Kevin posed for some beautiful portraits beneath the portico of City Hall. At their celebration lunch, conversation flowed easily, and speeches were brief yet heartfelt.

I should add that the food was excellent and service attentive from the Cosy Club team. The retro-themed décor of their dining room likewise added an interesting twist to my photos.

After fond farewells, Nicola and Kevin left for a dream honeymoon in the Maldives.
